Since 21/08/97
Welcome to my personal homepage, by now you should have gathered that I am heavily into CB radio and packet!!!
This page is to give you some idea of my other hobbies
and includes some links to some of my friends pages on the net. I am 31 years old and live
with my family in Eastcote, North West London.
I work as an Ambulance Driver at Mount Vernon Hospital, which specialises in the treatment of burns, plastic surgery and cancer, as well as other surgical and medical treatments.
I have had the privilege of working 18 months of my 2 years at Mount Vernon in the Operating Theatres, which was a very interesting and rewarding experience.
I currently work in the Minor Injuries department, which until 1 year ago provided full accident and emergency treatment, unfortunately due to Government cutbacks the hospital ( like many others ) was forced to withdraw this service.
My best mate is my father who lives nearby in Hillingdon.
This is a picture of us
at a charity event that we attended when I was a bus driver.
We both share the same hobbies, which include, Packet, CB and Amateur Radio, Computers and
the Internet. Much of our spare time is used in the pursuit of all these hobbies, and it
must be said... a lot of our money !!
The only real difference between us is our taste in women!!
I am madly in love with Demi Moore, what a woman !!
SORRY BRUCE!
My Hobbies
In my spare time i enjoy CB and amateur radio, shortwave listening, and building and using computers.
My first P.C was an old IBM
8086 with 2 five and a quarter inch disk drives, a 20Mb hard drive and a Hercules Monitor!
(see above, upgraded to VGA!) At the time i used to think that it was the "bees
Knees!" I now own a 100mhz Pentium clone,16mb of ram and an 850Mb hard disk drive
which I built myself.
I spend most of my time trying to get the thing working!!
My Musical Tastes
My musical tastes vary quite
dramatically, My favourite group are Queen, as you may have guessed when you first entered
this page! I also enjoy listening to Genesis, Pink Floyd, Jean michel jarre and Meatlof.
My all time favourite singles are: "Bohemian Rhapsody",
by Queen, "For Crying Out Loud", by Meatloaf and a
track called "echoes" from the Pink Floyd album Meddle. I also enjoy a lot of
the 80's music as well as Vanessa Mae's Toccata and Fugue in D minor.
The last live concert that I attended was Genesis "Domino tour" at wembley, and
the 1981 Reading Rock Festival!!
My car
This is a picture of the model of car I drive, mine was first registered in 1985, I spend a lot of my time picking the pieces up from the side of the road!
Seriously though it does drive quite
well and is very comfortable, so I guess as long as it stays in one piece I will keep it!
My Family
I have only 3 surviving relatives, my father, Colin, who lives with my step-mother Ellen nearby in Hillingdon and my 2 sisters, Sharon and Venetia, who live in High Wycombe.
I did have another sister, Louisa- jane, who was born in 1977, but unfortunately died 6 months later from Cot-Death. This badly affected my mother Jennifer, who suffered tremendously after her death with psychiatric problems, which eventually led to her taking her own life in 1983, at the age of 36 years. The one thing that I regret is that I never got the chance to tell her how much I loved her before she died.
This candle burns in memory of the family members that I have loved and lost.

One day we will all be re-united in a far better place than this.
